New Products of Murasame
In the past, Japan used to be called 'Zipang' which means golden country.
Gold and silver items made in Japan have a long history and a mature quality- among the best in the world.
Now, one master is debuting his work from a long history.
His name is Kohryu Murasame, and his technique was guaranteed by the Japanese government for its high skill.
The material he uses is 100% pure silver and 100% pure gold, often accessorized with rattan. Products of this standard are not typical,
but Murasame makes his art pieces using the same techniques used for Japanese sword making,
giving strength to the pure metals. Legendary samurai spirits exist in his soul and in his art.
Murasame was 18 years old when he entered the workplace as a silversmith. For 19 years he was working and practicing.
His technique is called 'arare uci'.and can only be done by a few people around the world.

研ぎ澄まされた刀剣や甲冑のような佇まいを醸し出す。
作品はすべての工程において手造りにて創られる。
機械任せによる作業は一切介さない。
特筆すべきは、いまや世界でも数人しか再現できないとされる
日本古来の伝統工芸技法 ”霰（あられ）” や ”活け端” を駆使して
生み出される一片の隙無き造形美。
この極めて希有な技術にて創造される作品は、
あたかも魂を持つ有機体のごとき妖艶な美しさを放ち
纏う者の五感に寄り添い、包み込む。
Designer's Profile
号：光立（Kohryu）
日本・東京生まれ。10代より二代目名工石黒光南氏に師事し、若くから鍛金技術の習得に勤しむ。
平成9年に開催された全日本金銀創作展での受賞を皮切りに、その才能が開花。以降、銀器における数々の賞を手中におさめる。
平成19年、経済産業大臣指定の伝統工芸士に認定。
現世において、数名ほどの習得者しか残存しない、極めて難度の高い伝統工芸技術 "アラレ" の熟練者となる。
光立の創造する作品は極めて精巧且つ艶やかな美しさを併せ持つ。
その技の完成度においては、まさに人間国宝級と評する声も多い。

道具への拘り
光立の作品創りに使用する全ての道具、あるいは鏨に至るまで、光立自身が自らの手で造り上げている。
生み出された数多の道具は、あたかも彼の手の延長のごとく、時に豪快に、時にしなやかに、然るべき仕事を精巧に成し、流麗で美しい作品を創造する大きな支えとなっている。
素材への拘り
世の一般的なアクセサリーは主に「silver925」にて生成されるが、光立は一貫して「純銀」に拘り続ける。
厚く、重く、硬いロジウムメッキが施されたsilver925の製品に比べて、柔らかく流麗、自然なかたちを表現できる純銀を使用した創造方法は、彼の作品創りに欠かせない。
また、純銀はその柔らかさゆえ、ときに傷つきやすい素材であるが、所有者である主と共に在り続け、その身に歴史を刻むことで、唯一無二の名品に昇華されるという信念を持つ。
選りすぐられた素材に業火を従え、
叩き、鍛え、磨き、そして命を吹き込む。
日本古来の極めて豪快且つ繊細な技法。
古より、熟練した真の工芸士が生む作品は
“細部に神が宿る”と評される。
現代日本において、その真の技術を継承する
